Adoption Process

Thank you for considering a Dino-Soar Aviary companion bird! Our adoption process is designed to ensure every bird is healthy, well-socialized, and matched with a loving forever home. Below you’ll find information about our reservation process, deposits, pickup, travel, and shipping options.

🦜 Reserve Your Bird

$50 Reservation deposit

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve one of our birds. Once your deposit is received, your chosen bird will be marked as Reserved and held exclusively for you until it is fully weaned and ready to join its forever home.

The remaining balance is due before pickup or shipping.

Deposits help us ensure that each bird is committed to a loving home and allow us to continue providing the highest level of care during the weaning and socialization process.

🚗 Bringing Your Bird Home

At Dino-Soar Aviary, every bird goes home only when it is:

✓ Fully weaned
✓ Eating independently
✓ Healthy and thriving
✓ Confident and ready for its forever family

Local Pickup

Local pickup is free and available by appointment. We’ll work with you to schedule a convenient pickup time once your bird is ready to go home.

Meet-Up Travel

If you’d like us to meet you at a mutually agreed-upon location, a travel fee may apply based on the distance traveled. Travel fees will always be discussed and agreed upon in advance.

Shipping Options

We understand that not every family lives nearby. Shipping may be available depending on your location, weather conditions, and carrier availability.

We currently offer shipping through:

✈️ Delta Cargo (when available and appropriate)
📦 USPS (available only when weather, destination, and the bird’s safety make it a suitable option)

Shipping costs are not included in the purchase price and are the responsibility of the buyer.

The health, comfort, and safety of our birds are always our highest priority. We reserve the right to delay or decline shipping if weather or travel conditions could place a bird at risk.
